My name is Taryn, I'm 24, and I'm currently teaching elementary school English in Japan. I'm from Pennsylvania, and I have a BA in Japanese from Penn State University. I really like foreign languages, and I've also studied German, Korean and Mandarin, but I've forgotten a lot from not using them. I don't like owls of any variety.

Hmm, it’s been almost 2 weeks since I’ve written anything here, I fail so bad at internets.
I don’t have a ton to write about, mostly because I’m going to watch some Rifftrax in a few minutes and can’t be bothered. Later I’ll try to write something with a little more substance if I have time.
I really just wanted to bitch about the fact that there are now cicadas just chilling on that telephone pole outside my window. It was bad enough when the crows were using it as their hangout, but these cicadas are so loud that even if I shut my window it sounds like they’re inside my room! D:
Just another reason I’d like to invest in a sniper rifle. =/
