My name is Taryn, I'm 25, and I've just gotten back to the States after teaching English in Tokyo for a year. I have a fairly useless degree in Japanese from Penn State University, and am currently back to searching for jobs again. I really like foreign languages, and I've also studied German, Korean and Mandarin, but I've forgotten a lot from not using them. I don't like owls of any variety.

Oh sheesh y’all, first day of elementary school today. I’m hella nervous, it’s like 1991 all over again, but I have more responsibility this time and no one to pick out my clothes for me. Actually, I guess it would have been 1990. Shit I’m old. Anyway, I hope it goes well! 頑張ります.. Fighting!
